Battle of Sethanon

This is the final product of the WIP i have posted from the first sketch up to this final developed digital painting.

This is on of two pieces for my final major project for college, its concept is based loosley on the Raymond E Fiest novels which i have only recently discovered but have been enthralled in for the past six months.

This is a huge development from my last painting, in the sense of creating a mood and atmosphere with a dramatic approach. I originaly painted only with air brushes but i decided to try something different and tried artist oils.

This is however still the beginning, this is only my second piece created in corel painter but by no means is the last, i have the bug...

do you think the dramatic lighting is a good effect, or does it ruin the image???
